Does no upfront cost mean no ongoing payments?
No. A solar agreement includes ongoing payments via a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). This is possible with the CA Renewable Energy Act and NET Metering Program in the state of California. Through the home assessment we determine electric rate, agreement details, and an explanation of any remaining utility charges with homeowners ahead of any installation of equipment.
Will solar lower my electric bill?
The result depends on your electricity use, system design, utility rates, and agreement terms. Compare the proposed solar payments and remaining utility charges with your current costs. Savings are not guaranteed. However, customers have the possibility of reducing their electric bill by 30% or more.
Can I add battery storage?
Absolutely! Battery storage is part of the no cost solar equipment program that Jason can help you explore. The number of batteries and what they can power are determined through a home assessment and system planning with Haute Solar and Stellar Energy.
